As a DMC Representative at BND GLOBAL DMC, you will be a crucial member of our team based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will involve promoting various international destinations, collaborating with global DMC partners, and fostering strong connections with Indian travel agencies and tourism boards. This multifaceted role requires a combination of marketing expertise, sales proficiency, and in-depth knowledge of different destinations. In the realm of Sales & Marketing, you will be tasked with showcasing and advertising our array of international destinations and DMC partners throughout India. Your role will involve driving B2B sales by establishing robust relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate travel planners. Additionally, you will represent BND GLOBAL DMC at various industry events such as trade fairs, roadshows, networking gatherings, and tourism expos. As part of Coordination & Account Management, you will act as the bridge between Indian travel agents and global DMCs. Daily tasks will encompass managing communications, customizing itineraries, negotiating rates, and overseeing service delivery. Your goal will be to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of travel products across different markets. In the domain of Destination Development, you will be required to stay updated on a variety of international destinations and their tourism offerings. Furthermore, you will provide training and assistance to agency partners regarding effective selling of destination packages. You will also assist in crafting customized itineraries in collaboration with local DMC partners based on market trends and client demands. In terms of Reporting & Strategy, you will compile monthly sales reports, market insights, and business development strategies. Your role will also involve contributing to both digital and offline marketing campaigns in alignment with the head office. Additionally, you will be expected to propose and implement strategies to enhance market penetration and revenue. To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the tourism sector, preferably with a DMC, tour operator, or travel agency. Strong knowledge of international travel markets is essential, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic digital marketing is required. Your interpersonal skills should be strong, enabling you to build enduring professional relationships.
