Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support to end-users. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, and IT systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Respond to technical support tickets (in-person or remotely)
• Support for printers, scanners, and other peripherals
• Set up new user accounts and provide access to systems
• Ensure antivirus and system updates are up to date
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and update logs
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair or replacement
• Provide support for email clients and office applications

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and network troubleshooting
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience with remote support tools (optional but preferred)
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, and IP addressing is a plus

Qualification:

• Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Certifications like A+, N+, or MCP are a plus
