As a Senior Software Developer in the Tech Enablement team at Plaksha, you will be involved in three key areas of work: In the website domain, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the university's website. This involves continuous improvement and feature additions based on the specific needs of different departments, faculty members, and centers. The website operates on a custom-built Laravel-based CMS, with the front-end implemented using Blade templates and Bootstrap CSS for styling. In the products realm, you will contribute to the development of internal tools that support various university initiatives. Additionally, you will play a role in crafting AI-powered products geared towards shaping the university of the future. Examples of internal tools include a student project showcase portal, an internal helpdesk system, and a QR generation tool for centralized management of university-related QR codes. You will also be involved in integrations to streamline operational processes. Plaksha leverages commercial software for diverse functions, which are integrated into an in-house Data Lake infrastructure supported by an AI-powered chatbot. To excel in this role, you should ideally hold a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in B.E. or B. Tech, coupled with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development. Furthermore, a minimum of 2+ years of managerial experience, collaborating with junior developers and non-technical stakeholders, is required. Your skill set should encompass 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying user-centric software solutions, showcasing proficiency across various technology stacks. You should possess the ability to derive clear requirements from ambiguous problem statements, architect robust and scalable solutions, and refactor existing codebases to align with evolving needs. Effective coordination with multiple teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver products within set timelines is pivotal. Your expertise should extend to front-end and back-end technologies, connected databases, server management (Apache/Nginx), and platforms like Azure and AWS. Experience with Laravel/PHP, .NET, and a sound grasp of design/UX principles are advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including task management and code documentation, are essential. Your background should demonstrate collaboration with fellow developers, offering mentorship, and thriving in a dynamic work environment with minimal supervision.,
