As an Assistant Business Development Manager at Kohler Co., you will play a crucial role in driving sales activities within a specific geographical region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Kohler products are specified by influencers such as architects, interior designers, and plumbing contractors for various projects. By establishing and maintaining relationships with these influencers, you will effectively communicate the advantages of Kohler products, convince them of Kohler's quality, and demonstrate how Kohler can best meet their requirements. Your key duties will include developing a comprehensive database of influencers in the territory, collaborating with the sales team and distributors to devise sales strategies, and providing regular updates on key projects to ensure Kohler products are specified. Additionally, you will monitor competitor activities within the influencer group and assist in organizing Architect Meets to strengthen Kohler's relationship with influencers. To excel in this role, you should ideally have a background in Design or Architecture, complemented by an MBA (Full Time) qualification. With 3-6 years of relevant experience, you should possess strong key account handling skills and a design-based solution approach. Your educational background in Interior Designing, Architecture, or any relevant Postgraduate degree will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
