About Company: A Leading & Reputed Fashion Retail company in India. Role Title: Designer (Women's Innerwear) Category: Women's Innerwear range Location: Chennai This is a diversity hiring, hence looking for only Female applicants. Role & responsibilities: Responsible for development of products from design conceptualization till approval of pre-production samples. Developing seasonal ranges in accordance with market trends and brand positioning. Developing lingerie styles for the new season, including CADs, colors, range, prints, fabric, accessories. Creating the season's fashion lingerie collection from conceptualization to till it reaches the market, on quarterly bases. Responsible for launch of season wise collections. Taking care of the technical aspects and innovation of entire range of womens intimate wear. Closely work with merchandising & other teams to achieve the right sourcing of raw materials. Conducting visits to vendors for product development and offline market/trade stores to gain insights and understanding. Managing visits to sampling units for development and ensuring product features are aligned. Providing all necessary inputs to quality/production after design closure. Preferred candidate profile: A Graduate with preferably 5+ years of experience in Womens innerwear category. Should have hands on expertise in Lingerie Design & Development, product management, quality control, Strategic Planning, Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Fashion Designing, Trend Analysis, Market Research.
