Job Description

As a Designer - Control & Instrumentation in the Mining & Mineral industries at Wood Kolkata office, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise with the following activities: - Experience in 3D Model in PDS/ PDMS / SP3D / E3D with proficiency in SPR and Navisworks for viewing Instrument Modelling work. Additionally, you will be responsible for the extraction of 2D Drawings from the 3D Model. - Proficiency in preparing 2D drawings using AutoCAD/MicroStation. - Development of Cable Routing Plan, Cable Block Diagram, Tray Layout, Hook Up Drawings, Instrument Location Layouts, Loop & Logic Diagrams, System Architecture Drawings, Graphic Drawings, etc. - Sound knowledge in Index, Wiring, Hook up, and Loop and Logic Diagram Modules of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and/or AVEVA. - Ability to review vendor information and incorporate it into drawings. - Conduct Model Review, Clash Checking & Tag Closing. - Generate Material Take Off (MTO). - Perform Wiring & Interconnection tasks (SPI / AVEVA preferred). - Create IRP Relay Schematic Diagrams.
