Designer - Civil & Structural

As a designer at our organization, you will play a crucial role in project execution by efficiently executing work packages using design tools and assisting the Discipline Project Lead Engineer to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards. Your responsibilities will include modeling using various 3D tools, generating layouts and installation drawings, checking drawings and MTOs, and reviewing vendor drawings related to plant design. You will be expected to ensure the quality of design as per job manual and QA checklist requirements, demonstrate the ability to work within project timelines with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with the Lead Engineer regarding project status and progress. Adherence to HSE, QA/QC requirements, compliance with project quality plans, and contributing to change management will also be key aspects of your role. Your domain knowledge will be essential for modeling and design drawing preparations, MTO generation, and preparation of various structural and foundation drawings. Proficiency in tools such as SmartPlant 3D, Auto-CAD, and TEKLA will be necessary to carry out your responsibilities effectively. Additionally, your ability to identify cost optimization opportunities during project execution and your strong communication skills for interdisciplinary workflow coordination will be valuable assets. To be a successful candidate for this role, you should have an ITI/Diploma in Engineering Discipline Civil and Structure, along with at least 5 years of experience in EPC or detail design engineering companies in sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, or Petrochemicals.
