About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in piping design, layout engineering, and detailed engineering in the mining, mineral, and metal industries or related heavy industries. Proficient in AutoCAD, E3D, Plant 3D, or similar 3D CAD software used for piping design. In-depth knowledge of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, ISO) and the ability to apply them effectively in design. Experience in FEED and detailed design phases of projects, from initial concept to final design. Familiarity with stress analysis and material selection for various operating conditions (pressure, temperature, and corrosion resistance). Strong understanding of piping layout principles, including routing, spacing, support design, and integration with equipment and structures. Experience working on large-scale mining or metallurgical plant projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
