You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with expertise in both 2D and 3D mechanical drafting joining our team. Your role involves creating precise technical drawings, schematics, and models for mechanical projects using AutoCAD software. Collaboration with engineers and team members is crucial to ensure accurate representation of designs and measurements for manufacturing and assembly processes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using AutoCAD software. - Accurately measure and incorporate all necessary dimensions for designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Create and modify technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on project requirements. - Review and analyze blueprints, sketches, and other design documents to produce clear, accurate CAD drawings. - Coordinate with engineers and team members to ensure all designs meet specifications and standards. - Update and revise drawings as required based on feedback or project changes. - Maintain organized and accessible records of all drawings and related project documentation. - Work with conceptual and detailed design phases, translating ideas into functional mechanical designs. Requirements: - Proven experience in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D) with a focus on mechanical drafting. - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to accurately measure and interpret dimensions. - Proficiency in creating 3D models and assemblies for mechanical components. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of industry standards, manufacturing processes, and material specifications. - Experience with other drafting or CAD software is a plus. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or relevant certification in Mechanical Drafting or Engineering preferred). - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
