Design Internship

Role Overview: As a Design Intern at Avaan Clothing, you will have the opportunity to work with a slow fashion label that focuses on creating timeless classics in various styles such as casual, office wear, Indo-Western, and Western. Your role will involve conducting trend research, assisting in fashion sketching, supporting in fabric selection, contributing to shoot styling and lookbooks, and learning the complete slow fashion design process from concept to creation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct trend research and build mood boards - Assist in fashion sketching, concept development & silhouette planning - Support in fabric selection, color palette curation, and sampling coordination - Contribute to shoot styling, lookbooks, and brand visuals - Learn the complete slow fashion design process from concept to creation Qualifications Required: - Passion for sustainable and mindful fashion - Skills in fashion sketching (digital or hand-drawn) - Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop - Familiarity with Myntra and e-commerce fashion trends (preferred) - Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn Additional Details: Avaan Clothing offers an unpaid internship for a duration of 3 months, with benefits including a certificate, portfolio credit, and a letter of recommendation based on performance. The internship can be done on-site in Kolkata or remotely.
