As we continue building one of India’s most design-forward lighting brands, we’re looking for curious, hands-on design interns who want to push consumer lighting beyond the obvious. Role Overview This is an on-site Design Internship based in Delhi, working closely with Homesake’s product and design team. You will be involved in the end-to-end design process —from early concepts and research to drawings, prototyping support, and final design detailing. This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how design actually becomes a product , not just how it looks on screen. What You’ll Work On Contributing to new product concepts in lighting and home décor Assisting in product design development —form, proportions, finishes, and details Creating and refining drawings, layouts, and CAD files Researching materials, trends, consumer behaviour, and global design references Supporting the team with visuals, presentations, and design documentation Collaborating with sourcing and production teams to understand real-world constraints and possibilities What We’re Looking For A student or recent graduate in Design, Product Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field Basic to strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Fusion, SolidWorks, or similar) Understanding of design fundamentals —proportion, balance, materials, and usability Curiosity about lighting, spaces, and how people live with objects Ability to research, think independently, and ask the right questions Good attention to detail and willingness to iterate Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment Why Intern at Homesake Real exposure to designing products that go to market , not just concept work Learn how design, sourcing, costing, and production come together Work with a team that values thoughtful design over noise A chance to leave your mark on products used in thousands of homes Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and fit
