Role & responsibilities 1. Fully Responsible for Vehicle Integration, Maintaining the Vehicle Layout, Concept & Final Design of Various Machine aggregates for MEWP machines 2. Responsible for End to End delivery right from Concept to Drawing Release, Selection of components, Product Improvements, resolve field issues, adding features, and Material BOM Cost reduction through VA/VE initiatives. 3. Prepare Design Release timeplans, Part Release plans considering project timelines. Update & provide information to management through PFEP (plan for every part tracker) 4. Concept work and Design of various Welded Structures, Sheet Metal Parts, Sub-assembly, Structuring the assemblies into layout, ensuring proper coordination & communication within team & with Stakeholders working in cross functional environment 5. Design review and Concept presentations & approvals. 6. Must know the working and performance criterias, specifications of machine. Reviewing the Vehicle Layout in view of all aggregates & ensure the digital mock up is checked at design stage for performance, assembly, service aspects. Ensuring the Coordination between design aggregate teams of Vehicle integration, Structures, Hydraulics, Electricals and Engine Installation.
