JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be accountable for:
1. Designing products for subsequent launch in the market by working with work-stream members from
technology, design,regulatory, patents, etc
2. Understanding technology, developing concepts and making the design/ prototypes with support from
respective TPLs and technology partners.
3. Will independently be responsible for delivering all design elements (product design and development,
plastic material selection, prototyping and testing, CAD modelling & Simulation, Documentation and
compliance) of 1-2 projects every year
4. Study of the functional & aesthetical need, conceptualization of the mechanism. modelling of parts &
assemblies on 3D CAD.
5. Carrying out DFMEA and risk assessment of 3D designs and prototypes.
6. Research design options and perform experiments to determine potential design feasibility.
7. Should be able to do measurements on components and generate inspection reports
8. Working with all cross-functional teams (Supply chain, supply management, marketing, CMI and
customer support) and driving the project timelines and goals.
1. Should have basic appreciation of inject Mold design, process and Engineering polymers
2. Should have strong basic engineering concepts.
