Designation- Design engineer-Wiring Harness Experience: 3 to 7 Years. Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Automotive Engineering Scope of Role The Design Engineer is responsible for generating CREO Electrical Wiring Harness - 3D CAD, 2D drawing & Schematic concepts/ solutions for ongoing and new projects for Off Highway Industry customers. Functional Skills: Electrical Schematics, Wiring Harness, Routing Domain Skills: Automotive Electrical & Electronics, Wiring Harness Tool Skills: CREO 7.0 Electrical, CREO Schematic, Electrical wiring harness layout, Schematic design, Flattening, wiring harness drawings creation, Part design and Assembly design, Wiring GP Area of Responsibility: This position is responsible for creation of 3D CAD, 2D Drawing, Wiring harness routing & Schematic Wiring Harness: Candidate having experience in Off Highway/Automotive Electrical Domain Expertise of Electrical Wiring Harness Routing and Packaging, schematic design, Electric circuit design. Expertise in using CREO Electrical & CREO schematics work benches. Create HV & LV Electrical schematic for machines used in 11KV application. Update electrical schematics for Vehicle, Motor control centres. Experience of Electrical Components Packaging and Integration (Bracket Design) Experience of Harness component selection Like connector, terminal, wire, Covers. Expertise in Design of Clamps, Brackets, Panels, Grommets, Seals, Fuse box & Channels for Wiring Harness at desired locations. Expertise in using AUTOCAD Electrical module. Exposure to other auxiliary tools like ELD (Electrical Line design), Integration package, JT Translator etc. Wiring GP Creation. Selection of appropriate accessories. Experience in JT Mock-up to review 3D models on machine Experience in JT Clearance check for gate BIQ on 3D models Experience of using TeamCenter and/or other PDM tools Knowledge of DFMEA, DFA, DFS. Knowledge of Info fitment drawing preparation Knowledge / Essential: Extensive experience in using CREO Electrical 7.0 Autorouting or above Good all-round design skills which must include experience of working on Automotive, IHM Electrical domain Teamcenter Experience. AUTOCAD Electrical Experience Engineering knowledge of defined EE Component(s) / System(s) design, Function, Performance, Production & Manufacturing requirements Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
