Job Title: Design Engineer Experience Required: 1 to 5 Years Location: Ahmedabad Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and innovative Design Engineer with 1 to 5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed engineering drawings and designs that meet performance and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and prepare 2D/3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical designs Conduct design calculations, simulations, and validations to ensure functional performance Review and revise designs based on feedback, test results, or updated specifications Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, revisions, and technical data Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Key Requirements: Diploma/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 1 to 5 years of experience in a design engineering role Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team Preferred: Experience with sheet metal or fabrication design Familiarity with ERP systems and design documentation standards
