Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be collaborating with a team of engineers to comprehend the gearbox design requirements for the development of wind turbine gearboxes. Your primary responsibility will involve creating component designs utilizing 3D CAD software and engineering drawings with precision and high standards. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles and machine elements. - Showcase expertise in designing gearbox components such as Planetary & Helical gears. - Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance, and Stack-up analysis. - Collaborate within teams to grasp gearbox and mechanical interfaces along with their design specifications. - Hands-on experience in 3D CAD design of gearbox components and associated 2D drawings. - Ensure the delivery of all drawings with quality and within specified timelines. - Previous exposure in the wind/industrial gearboxes industry is advantageous. Qualification / Experience: - Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 8 years of experience. Software Knowledge: - NX (Unigraphics), Teamcenter, Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Soft Skills Required: - Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, adept at teamwork. - Self-organizing with strong communication abilities and capable of meeting tight deadlines. - Self-motivated, a team player with effective problem-solving and analytical skills. - Inclination towards continuous learning of new concepts. - Flexibility to adapt and work in a dynamic, international team with a customer-centric approach.,
