Design Engineer - Sheet Metal & AutoCAD & SolidWorks Specialist

Job Description: As a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in sheet metal design and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, your role will involve designing and developing sheet metal components and assemblies. You will be responsible for creating and updating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Collaborating with production, quality, and project teams to ensure manufacturability of designs will be a key aspect of your job. Additionally, you will conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement while maintaining technical documentation and adhering to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies. - Create and update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. - Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams to ensure manufacturability of designs. - Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. - Maintain technical documentation and adhere to industry standards. Requirements: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 3-4 years of relevant experience in sheet metal design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
