Design Engineer - Product Management / Item Management Company Description We are looking for you who is immediate joiner and want to grow with us! Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer - PLM to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in item life cycle management, spare part management, and PLM software . This role involves providing engineering support to aftermarket sourcing teams , conducting engineering assessments , and working with BoM (Bill of Materials) management . Experience in TC (Teamcenter), UGNX / Siemens NX, ERP, and SAP is essential. Provide engineering support to aftermarket sourcing teams for supplier changes, end-of-life items , and other technical assessments. Conduct engineering evaluations by comparing BoMs and technical specifications of key components and OEM parts. Manage and validate Engineering, Production, and Aftermarket BoMs for accuracy and consistency. Use Teamcenter and UGNX / Siemens NX for modeling, drawing, and item creation . Demonstrate strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and the ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics . Work with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software for item management and spare part tracking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and aftermarket operations to streamline processes. Support the development of aftermarket kits and ensure proper documentation. Utilize Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator for technical documentation and authoring tasks. Manage stakeholders and effectively plan engineering tasks to meet deadlines. Work with global teams and adapt to a dynamic engineering/manufacturing environment , preferably in mining or heavy industry . Exhibit a strong team-oriented mindset , openness to learning, and excellent communication skills. Required Skills Qualifications: 2 to 3 years of experience in item life cycle management, spare part management, and PLM software . Proficiency in TC (Teamcenter), UGNX / Siemens NX, ERP, and SAP . Strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment . Knowledge of aftermarket processes, kit creation, and technical documentation . Hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator . Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English .
