Job Description

Technical Skills: Experience in Airbus methodologies and Processes for A320/A330 and A350. Design of mechanical system installation components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, and production/assembly requirements while the highest safety of the product is assured using appropriate design tools. Good Working Knowledge in Installation Drawings (Airbus Standards) creation. Proven understanding of mechanical systems installation and design requirements. Working experience on various systems including ATA36, ATA21, ATA28, ATA29, ATA38, ATA47 etc Strong drawing reading and understanding skills, Knowledge on GD&T. Minimum 2 years of working experience on MSI Experience in Designing, Detailing, Assembly and BOM Reporting capabilities (for all activities) Airbus certification is must ( VPM + PASS ) Tool Skills: Catia V5: Good Hands on experience in Part Design, Sheet metal, Assembly Design, GSD , Tubing and Drafting Modules. PASS/VPM: Working Knowledge on PASS V2 and VPM. Good to have exposure to work with Scripts (VBA)/Macros. Behavioral / Role Based Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills Very effective interpersonal skills Self driven, should possess excellent engineering skills and thinking Experience working on large collaborative projects and eagerness to work with others Structured upstream Follow-up Responsibilities: Responsible for providing deliverables to specification, within agreed timescale, meeting the necessary quality standards and to customer satisfaction Report technical risks, issues, and opportunities to the team, technical leadership and program Responsible for mentoring and training the juniors
