Design Engineer (Mechanical)

As a Mechanical and Electromechanical Product Designer, your role involves designing products using 3D/2D CAD tools and evaluating systems based on principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials. You will develop products by understanding customer requirements, researching manufacturing methods, and testing materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, preparing reports, and maintaining databases. Your contribution to the team's efforts is crucial, and the ability to work independently is a key requirement. Key Responsibilities: - Design mechanical and electromechanical products using 3D/2D CAD tools - Evaluate systems by conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials - Develop products by studying customer requirements, testing manufacturing methods, and materials, and gathering feedback from operators - Design and modify equipment for manufacturing processes - Ensure product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products, and confirming fabrication processes - Prepare product reports by analyzing information and trends - Maintain system and product database by writing computer programs and entering data - Contribute to team efforts as required Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD tools - Strong understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials - Experience in product design and development - Ability to work independently Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including provident fund.
