We are currently seeking talented individuals to join us as a Design Engineer for our projects based in Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Noida offices. In this role, you will be part of our Water Design and Engineering team, working on diverse and technically demanding projects within the UK water industry. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will collaborate with our MEICA team to contribute your skills to various water and wastewater projects for clients across the UK. Reporting to the Technical Discipline Lead or Technical Director, your responsibilities will include specifying and designing mechanical process plant to meet or exceed client expectations. You will engage directly with stakeholders, support business objectives, and build strong networks within the industry. Key responsibilities for the role include managing projects for the Water Mechanical team, overseeing analysis and design production, ensuring quality assurance and client feedback, and collaborating with regional offices for safe design requirements. You will also be involved in developing technical methodologies, reviewing work, coordinating with project managers, and providing technical advice to team members. To qualify for this position, candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, have 5-8+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment systems design, and be registered or accredited professionals. Proficiency in BIM software and knowledge of UK/European water industry standards are preferred. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to health and safety management are essential for success in this role.
