Design Engineer

You will be working at Lincoln Electric, a global leader in engineering, design, and manufacturing of advanced arc welding solutions, automated joining systems, and cutting equipment. As part of the team in Chennai, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Providing technical support to the team for CAD related activities - Creating 3D models and drawings from conceptual sketches - Assisting the team in component fabrication and testing - Supporting the team in creating technical documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. - Working productively to ensure tasks are completed within the timeline To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical - 1-3 years of relevant experience in Mechanical engineering - Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals such as physics, materials, and standards - Strong knowledge in CAD with certification in SolidWorks/Creo as an added advantage - Good knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards - Proficiency in the design of jigs and fixtures - Excellent communication skills Join Lincoln Electric's team in Chennai and contribute to advancing fabrication capabilities to help build a better world.,
