Role Overview: At Jacobs, you will be responsible for planning and guiding a team of Revit modelers in developing BIM models meeting LOD 100 to 350 requirements during various project phases. You will review the model, ensure quality control, and guide modelers in extracting layouts such as HVAC equipment layout and ducting layouts. Additionally, you will be involved in tasks such as preparation of site works tender, cost estimation for the HVAC part of the project, procurement assistance, vendor drawing review, and providing clarification to requests for information from the site during construction. Your role will also include visiting sites for residual engineering, resolving site queries, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring HVAC engineering execution within budget, on time, and meeting quality standards for the project. Key Responsibilities: - Planning and guiding a team of Revit modelers in developing BIM models meeting LOD 100 to 350 requirements - Reviewing the model, ensuring quality control, and guiding modelers in extracting layouts like HVAC equipment layout and ducting layouts - Preparation of site works tender and cost estimation for the HVAC part of the project - Procurement assistance including providing technical clarifications, participating in pre-bid/post-bid meetings, technical bid analysis, and preparation of order specifications - Vendor drawing review and providing clarification to requests for information from the site during construction - Visiting sites for residual engineering, resolving site queries, and coordinating with stakeholders for effective engineering management - Ensuring HVAC engineering execution within budget, on time, and meeting quality standards - Providing Management Information for the HVAC engineering part of the project and attending project review meetings Qualifications Required: - BE Mechanical Engineer with specialization in HVAC Design - Minimum 14 years of experience, with at least 5 years in HVAC Engineering of Data Centre, Industrial, Pharma, or FMCG projects - Knowledge of HSD system Note: This job description at Jacobs emphasizes the importance of collaboration, in-person interactions, and a hybrid working policy that allows employees to work from Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
