Design Engineer - Hull (Aveva Marine)

As a design engineer, you will work closely with the client to execute design engineering projects in coordination with your hull design team. Your responsibilities include hull structural modeling for the detail design of various projects, assisting team members with hull design tasks, coordinating work, checking drawings, coaching and supporting team members, ensuring quality work, contributing to hull and foundation creation, coordinating engineering activities within projects, and being willing to relocate domestically or internationally on short notice for client needs. You will also be expected to undertake any other tasks assigned by the organization. To qualify for this position, you should hold a diploma or degree in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or naval architecture with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience. Additionally, you must have at least 1 year of experience working with 3D ship design software, specifically Aveva Marine, and have worked on detail design projects in shipbuilding and offshore areas. Good communication skills, attention to detail, a commitment to perfection, a willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills, and readiness to serve a minimum of 1 year with the company are essential requirements.
