Role Overview: As a Design Engineer specializing in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) at VALV-L&T Valves Limited, Kancheepuram Works, your main responsibilities will include performing design and FEA for special valves according to customer requirements and ASME codes. You will also be tasked with conducting FMEA and reliability analysis for valve designs. Key Responsibilities: - Independently work on structural, thermal, and flow analysis using FEA tools like Ansys. - Engage in analysis activities and seek approval during project execution. - Enhance and develop analysis competencies to ensure project success. - Demonstrate proficiency in design fundamentals and strength calculations. - Possess exposure and knowledge of ASME codes. - Conduct 3D modeling and drafting of parts and assemblies, preferably using Creo software. - Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in analysis activities. - Familiarity with other analysis types such as vibration, shock, modal, and fatigue analysis is advantageous. - Collaborate effectively as a team player and maintain dedication to analysis and development tasks. - Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
