Job Description

Role Overview: As a Design Engineer - Electrical in Trichy, you will be responsible for assigned projects and collaborate with architects, service engineers, contractors, and team members to ensure successful implementation of electrical systems. Your role will involve conducting site visits, evaluating existing electrical systems, and providing technical support throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities: - Designing electrical systems including panels, switchboards, elevators, transformers, cable trays, etc. - Implementing Extra Low Voltage systems such as Closed Circuit Television System, Access Control System, Public Address & General alarm System, LAN and Telephone System. - Handling automation loopings and controls. - Preparing requirements/questionnaire for new projects. - Scheduling meetings to collect necessary information for drawing commencement. - Designing complete electrical systems including DBR, budgetary cost estimation, equipment selection, etc. - Communicating and coordinating with service consultants, contractors, and site engineers for drawing updates and revisions. - Conducting site visits to validate electrical design execution. - Ensuring deliverables to architects with properly coordinated MEP drawings to evaluate conflicts between architectural elements and MEP systems. Qualification Required: - Diploma / BE in Electrical - Proficiency in AutoCAD - Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role Additional Details of the Company (if present): Negotiable salary for a full-time permanent position with day shift schedule. The work location is in person at the designated site.
