Design Engineer CREO

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with design engineers and cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and objectives. You will be tasked with creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and drawings utilizing Creo software. Conducting design analyses and simulations to validate product performance and ensure compliance with engineering standards is a crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, you will assist in enhancing design processes, workflows, and best practices while maintaining accurate documentation such as design specifications and engineering change orders. Participation in design reviews to offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement is expected. Collaboration with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize product manufacturability is also a key responsibility. Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in design engineering techniques and software is essential for this role. As for qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. Proficiency in Creo software (Pro/ENGINEER) is essential. A solid understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and manufacturing processes is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are crucial. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred, and experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and practices is a plus.
