Design Engineer CREO

The responsibilities of this role include collaborating with design engineers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. You will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using Creo software. Conducting design analyses and simulations to validate product performance and ensure compliance with engineering standards will be part of your tasks. Additionally, you will assist in the development and improvement of design processes, workflows, and best practices. It is crucial to prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including design specifications and engineering change orders. Your involvement in design reviews, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement, and collaborating with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility are essential. Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in design engineering techniques and software is also expected. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Creo software (Pro/ENGINEER) is essential. A solid understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and manufacturing processes is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for this position. Attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately are essential. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is preferred, and experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and practices is a plus.
