Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Execute multiple projects and ensure flawless execution in all. Within time and budget

2. Co-ordinate with external stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery

3. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations in new product development. Both Internal and external product development drives

4. Prepare BOQs, assisting in developing products

5. Manage customer expectations and provide necessary information to assist in customer's product development cycle.

6. Prepare project reports and other relevant QMS documentations.

7. Assist Sales teams with project cost estimate and timelining

8.Experience in handling customer, sensing customer intent.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. CAD (NX, Catia or Solid-edge)

2. Project/program management certification is added advantage.

3. Good communication skills are a must.

4. Good understanding of Frist principle costings.

5. Sound mechanical Engineering fundamentals

6. Sound manufacturing fundamentals

7. Experience in working cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with PPAP, IATF 16949 requirements is preferred, Experience in developing automotive components is a huge plus.
