Posion : Sr. Chemical Engineer Experience: 510 years Locaon: Navi Mumbai Job Descrip¢on: Lead Chemical Engineer will drive downstream process modeling and op¢miza¢on for syngas to chemicals. The role focuses on syngas treatment, separa¢on, and integra¢on with downstream systems using advanced simula¢on tools. Key Responsibili¢es: ¢ Lead design and simula¢on of downstream processing units using process simula¢on tools. ¢ ¢ ¢ ¢ Model syngas treatment, cleaning, separa¢on, and conversion processes. Evaluate and op¢mize process eciency, heat integra¢on, and material balance. Support scale-up, techno-economic assessments, and engineering packages. Prepare detailed process ow diagrams (PFDs), heat and mass balances, and process datasheets. ¢ ¢ Collaborate with cross-func¢onal teams including mechanical, instrumenta¢on, and opera¢ons. Document process models, design assump¢ons, and results for internal and external stakeholders. Qualica¢ons & Skills: ¢ ¢ Must have Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in process modeling and simula¢on, ideally in gasica¢on or downstream chemical processes. ¢ ¢ Must have Strong prociency in Aspen Plus is essen¢al. Should have Solid understanding of syngas to chemical unit opera¢ons and process integra¢on. ¢ Strong analy¢cal, documenta¢on, and communica¢on skills.
