Job Title-Design & Drafting Engineer
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Draftsman with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The Ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering drawings, with proficiency in CAD software. You will collaborate closely with engineers to produce detailed technical drawings that meet project specifications.Key Responsibilities Creating Models and drawings as per corporate needs and as per international standards Verifying drawings prepared by other colleagues (Corporate) Interface with corporate engineers to solve the drawing & Process related queries. Design and drafting of Packaging drawings. Dimensions Report Preparation. Supporting cost estimators (Corporate) when Drawings / sketches are requested tobe produced, quoted and printed in some specific format (3D to quoted 2D) Quality and on time delivery of requested drawings from Group companies. Review and verify the process drawings to meet the manufacturing requirements. Checking and uploading drawings and Packaging Instructions in MPP cycles Releasing of the Drawing in PLMCore Competencies required Hands on Experience in Autodesk inventor Drawing capabilities in AutoCAD Mechanical Good Computer Skills, mainly MS Office. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of PLM (Teamcenter will be added advantage) Knowledge of technical drawing ability to read drawing. Ability to work independently Knowledge of main mechanical processes AccuracyAddl. Qualification (added advantage) Work experience in Industry (Machining operations related) Previous experience as a technical designer. External training & Work experience in AutoCAD. Work Experience in PLM/ ERP systems Interpretation and critical eye in preparing a drawing (improve the way of dimensioning,perform additional views, add details etc.)
