As a skilled and detail-oriented Pharma Machine Engineer specializing in Effervescent Tablet Packaging Machinery, your role will involve the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of packaging machines used for effervescent tablets in compliance with GMP standards. Key Responsibilities: - Installation and Commissioning of effervescent tablet packaging lines including tube filling, desiccant inserting, capping, labeling, and secondary packaging. - Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment such as rotary tablet feeders, tube loaders, desiccant inserters, cappers, and labelers. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery to minimize downtime. - Identify mechanical or electrical issues and coordinate repairs or modifications. - Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical GMP guidelines during all operations. - Calibrate machines for accurate dosing, sealing, and labeling. - Maintain machine logs, maintenance reports, and SOP documentation. - Train operators on machine handling, safety, and cleaning procedures. - Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure efficient workflow and product quality. - Work with automation/software teams if SCADA/HMI or PLC systems are involved in packaging lines. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering. - 5-7 years of experience with pharmaceutical effervescent or solid dosage packaging machines. - Familiarity with effervescent packaging technology, including moisture protection requirements. - Knowledge of machine components like pneumatic systems, servo motors, PLCs, and HMIs. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Good understanding of pharma regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, FDA preferred). - Ability to work in shifts and in a cleanroom production environment.
