We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate must ensure smooth front-desk operations, provide excellent patient experience, and support the medical team in day-to-day administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Patient Handling Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Answer incoming calls, manage enquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently. Maintain patient flow and ensure minimal waiting time. Guide patients regarding procedures, treatment rooms, consultation order, and billing steps. Appointment & Record Management Maintain the clinic schedule and update appointments in the system. Collect patient details and update records accurately. Coordinate rescheduling, reminders, and follow-ups for consultations and procedures. Billing & Cash Handling Generate bills, collect payments, and maintain daily cash reconciliation. Coordinate with the accounts team for payment updates, receipts, and reports. Clinic Coordination Ensure smooth communication between patients, doctors, and nurses. Assist in managing patient files, consent forms, and procedure documentation. Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception and waiting area. Customer Service & Support Provide clear information about treatments, packages, and services (without medical claims). Handle patient concerns politely and escalate issues to the management when required. Maintain a positive, professional, and confidential environment. Skills & Qualifications Required Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a receptionist (clinic/hospital preferred). Good communication skills (English, Malayalam preferred). Basic computer skills: appointment software, Excel, WhatsApp, email. Pleasant and patient-friendly attitude. Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy situations. Preferred Experience in dermatology, dental, or cosmetology clinics. Knowledge of billing and medical documentation.
