As an experienced professional with a background in engineering, business, or computer science and 5 to 10 years of experience in regulatory reporting functions or capital markets, you have the opportunity to join an investment banking firm in a Transaction Reporting role based in Whitefield, Bangalore. The firm is looking for individuals with expertise in derivative transactions, securities, regulatory reporting regimes such as MMSR/SMMD, MIFID2, EMIR, or SFTR, data manipulation using Excel, and familiarity with systems like Murex, Sophis, Calypso, or Summit. In this role, you will be part of the transaction regulatory reporting factory team of global markets operations as a Regulatory Reporting Officer. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the implementation, monitoring, and quality of regulatory reports submitted to regulators. Your day-to-day tasks will include specifying, tracking, and validating requests for changes, corrections, and implementing controls with compliance and IT teams, responding to inquiries from regulators, audits, compliance, and counterparties, organizing and conducting periodic controls, and participating in the validation of reporting scenarios in the context of regulatory changes and updates to global market IT systems. The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent interpersonal skills, proactive and autonomous work approach, curiosity, meticulousness, and organizational skills. Proficiency in English at a B2 level is required for effective communication. The contract duration for this role is 6 months, with an immediate to 15 days notice period being preferred.
