You are looking for a Technical Consultant with a strong background in Informatica and Oracle, capable of comprehending intricate technical and architectural challenges and understanding the consequences of the chosen technical approach. In this role, you will engage with various levels of the technical and business communities, ensuring alignment and approval from all project stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is required for this position. The ideal candidate should exhibit expertise in Informatica, Oracle, Unix Scripting, Perl, and Scheduling tools like Autosys or Control. Proficiency in Database Design, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Enterprise reporting, and ODS concepts is essential. You should possess advanced skills in Oracle PLSQL/T-SQL and have a proven track record of managing complete project lifecycles from requirements analysis to project delivery. Familiarity with Agile methodology is advantageous. Your responsibilities will include producing design and technical specifications, proposing solutions, estimating new projects, and collaborating with delivery managers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to design effective solutions. It is crucial to work closely with diverse teams such as Infrastructure, Testing, Reporting, and Enterprise groups to ensure the proposed solutions align with business needs. Strong expertise in data modeling, data normalization, and performance optimization techniques is expected. You will be required to establish standards, procedures, and best practices for data management, load processes, reconciliation, and exception handling. In addition, mentoring junior team members, providing guidance in solution development and troubleshooting, and fostering a collaborative work environment is vital. Exposure to building reporting solutions using tools like WebFocus or OBIEE is a plus. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Fund accounting, Fund reporting, and derivative concepts are highly valued for this role.
