Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities Deputy Manager (Production)

Maintain and ensure 5S implementation in the department.
Promote and ensure a strong safety culture within the department.
Ensure the quality of production as per defined standards.
Monitor and ensure achievement of production targets and productivity.
Maintain and improve production efficiency.
Coordinate with Stores for availability of raw materials (RM) and packing materials (PM).
Maintain the Finished Goods (FG) stacking plan.
Prepare and execute production planning as per schedule.
Ensure dispatch of received orders within 24 hours and maintain proper shelf management.
Provide proposed production dates for all received orders.
Support initiatives to increase dispatch volume and value.
Coordinate inter-plant dispatches as required.
Drive process developments and continuous improvements.
Develop and maintain a skill matrix for all production staff.
Ensure timely submission of all production-related reports.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive maintenance activities.
Coordinate with Maintenance for handling major breakdowns efficiently.
Coordinate with all support departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Reconcile stock with Logistics and Stores departments.
Ensure monthly stock audits and support external audits
