Position Overview:

WSHS invites applications for the position of Dentist cum Tutor in Medical Sciences (Anatomy & Physiology).
The selected candidate will initially handle Anatomy and Physiology sessions for B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences students.

Upon establishment of the Dental Department, the incumbent will transition to clinical dental practice within the hospital, while continuing to support academic responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Role (Initial Phase):

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Anatomy and Physiology.
• Guide students in understanding applied anatomy and physiology relevant to healthcare disciplines.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams for curriculum enrichment and student mentoring.

Clinical Role (Subsequent Phase):

• Provide comprehensive dental consultations and treatments.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical audits, continuing education programs, and community dental initiatives.

Qualifications:

• BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a university recognized by the Government of India.
• Valid registration with the Kerala Dental Council / DCI.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Prior teaching experience preferred; freshers with strong academic backgrounds may also apply.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam.

Employment Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time (On-Campus)
• Work Days: Monday to Friday
• Timings: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekly Off: Sunday (mandatory)
• Compensation: Based on qualifications and performance.
