- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures by preparing, passing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort - Take and develop dental X-rays and ensure their accurate documentation - Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure they feel comfortable and informed - Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment - Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle billing inquiries as needed - Educate patients on postoperative and general oral health care

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred - Current CPR certification and familiarity with basic life support procedures - Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage patient interactions empathetically - Proficient in dental software and basic computer skills - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks - Experience in dental assisting or a related field is an advantage
