Role ERM is looking for a motivated, hands-on Consultant to join our LPMR team based out of either Mumbai, Maharashtra or Gurgaon, Haryana. Responsibilities Entry – mid level consultants: Client-oriented and targeted planning, organization and execution of projects in the field of contaminated site investigation and remediation. Executing environmental assessments and remediation programs involving the collection of field data (Soil, soil vapour, groundwater) as well as coordinating and supervising technical field work including the management of subcontractors on-Site. Electronic data management including the evaluation of results and preparation of reports and summaries. Assist with the preparation of client proposals and creating opportunities for further business development. Support project managers through planning and delivering field programs and/or budget/ task management. Requirements Masters degree in Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or related fields. 1 – 2 years of professional experience in the field of contaminated site investigation. High appreciation and understanding of health & safety requirements on work sites. Fieldwork experience involving sampling of environmental media (soil, water, groundwater, soil vapour etc.). Proven report writing skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint etc.) is expected. Experience in field activities management including coordinating subcontractors. Ability to succeed at a consulting pace, handling multiple project assignments and maintaining flexibility while meeting strict deadlines. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and other related expenses. Quantity Take-off: Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications to determine the amounts of materials required. Pricing: Analyse costs to prepare pricing for various construction projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Bid Preparation: Compile all relevant information to prepare and submit bids for construction projects, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
