Demand Planning Functional Consultant

You are a highly motivated and skilled o9 Solutions Implementation Consultant who will be responsible for leading the functional implementation of o9's Demand Planning solution for global and regional supply chain firms. Your key role involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to ensure successful end-to-end implementations of the o9 platform, with a specific focus on the Demand Planning module. Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements from clients and transforming them into effective o9 platform configurations. You will drive data integration efforts by working closely with clients" IT teams and o9 technical consultants to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and modeling. Additionally, you will develop and execute test scenarios to validate functional and system performance, as well as support user training and change management initiatives during deployment. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through system adoption and continuous improvement post-implementation. You will also collaborate with o9 technical teams and client-side stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning or IT consulting, with a proven track record of at least 1-2 full-cycle implementations of the o9 platform, specifically in Demand Planning. You should possess a strong understanding of demand forecasting concepts, statistical modeling, and S&OP processes. Hands-on experience in configuring o9 Demand Planning modules, including DP foundational blocks, setting up master data and associated hierarchies, IBPL, creating active rules and procedures, setting up UIs, and defining user access roles is essential. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or integration tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS) would be advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related disciplines is preferred. Experience with other advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP) and familiarity with Agile project management methodologies would be beneficial. Additionally, holding o9 certification(s) on Technical Level 1 & 2, DP Ref Model would be a plus.,
