DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Electrical role Analyze, evaluate, and compile various data to prepare high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage and street lighting management strategies. Support the technical leads in the planning and design of dry utilities of site development and major infrastructure projects in UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Asia. These include preparing reports, drawings, and presentations to the desired standards. Provide technical specialty for land-development related projects, such as the design of high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage and street lighting for stages including feasibility study, concept, preliminary, detailed design, and utility diversion works. Designing and undertaking studies using the relevant state-of-art software. Provides technical guidance to CAD designer/drafters and have the ability to coordinate with BIM technology. Production of calculations, technical reports, and presentations of electrical systems design, including their relevant amenities, through various stages of the project, ensuring the accurate, correct, and feasible design. Ensure designs and drawings are developed in accordance with relevant international standards and local guidelines. Perform detailed review of produced work and other responsibilities associated with this position, as may be appropriate. Coordination and engagement with Singapore and Dubai SUIT team management, other engineering disciplines, team leads, project managers, clients, external agencies, and other stakeholders on any relevant project matter. Provide support to team leads and members on proposals and general business development activities Energy role Support the ESD and Energy technical leads in the analysis, feasibility study, preparation of design concepts and integration of same into coordinated schemes for renewable energy generation, energy consumption and energy storage for our Global Projects. The above will require the calculation of yields for such renewable energy sources as solar, wind and other including tidal and geothermal for example and also the calculation of storage of energy based on different solutions such as electrical batteries and fuel cells. Such solutions will be achieved primarily using software solutions. The role will include the close coordination with the electrical and energy, including district cooling, teams to input into the understanding of energy demand profiles and will require the necessary appreciation of storage solutions required for net-zero energy solutions on a building or city wide basis. Development of an understanding, and documentation of same, of the commercially available technologies relevant to the above and also and understanding of the research that will lead to commercially available solutions in the near future. The duties will include the necessary preparation of reports, concept sketches, drawings, and presentations to the required standards to fully document the energy system design concepts developed. The role will require the necessary flexibility to coordinate fully with the team members based in Dubai and Singapore and other offices. Your key responsibilities As an Experience Management Assistant Manager, you will work as the staffing lead for the assigned region/service/competency team and will be responsible to supervise the end-to-end demand management process from demand generation to demand validation, demand – supply matching, internal demand fulfilment, external recruitment coordination, headcount management, bench management and reporting/MIS. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing resource management process and operational efficiency within the business. The role is expected to build a high performing team, equipped to effectively manage the requirements of the business and consistently deliver on defined KPIs. The incumbent will supervise a team of 5-10 WFM professionals, provide career counselling, review performance and enable people engagement and teaming. Some of your key responsibilities include: Ensure compliance to GDS EM protocols and guidelines. Manage end-to-end resource management – demand pipeline management, capacity planning, demand management, external recruitment coordination, headcount management, bench management and reporting/MIS Monitor demand – supply gaps and opportunities to cross/upskill resources to minimize bench and improve employee experiences. Monitor and actively drive governance on skills update on defined skills management platforms. Establish channels for regular stakeholder connects and business reviews. Provide thought leadership to the EM team in identifying and implementing resource optimization techniques. Implement and monitor quality compliance within the Experience Management team. Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for process improvement/automation. Develop a strong business continuity framework for self and team. Lead people engagement and people development activities to create a positive work environment for the team. Drive cross SL resource sharing for improved Collaborate with other EM team leads and share best practices Skills and attributes for success Graduates with 8-9 years of relevant workforce management experience. Understanding of business models, operational and financial aspects of service delivery is mandatory. The suitable candidate should have good analytical skills, can compute staffing demands, validate skills and experiences associated with the demand, identify suitable fulfilment options from the internal pool of professionals available for allocation or on bench and negotiate staffing solutions with the service delivery managers. To qualify for the role, you must have Excellent domain knowledge in resource management, demand planning and MIS. Strong execution skills with focus on meeting timelines and delivering highest quality service. Solution oriented mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong time management and analytical skills. Stakeholder management skills. 2-3 years’ experience in directly supervising a team. Ideally, you’ll also have Experience in change management, project management, forecasting and workforce planning. Experience in BI tools – Alteryx, Power BI, Spotfire will be preferred.
