Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation:Safely drive the delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations.
Navigation:Use GPS and other routing systems to follow assigned routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules.
Loading/Unloading:Pack and load products onto the vehicle and then unload them at customer locations.
Order Verification:Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
Customer Service:Interact with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, handle complaints, and obtain signatures.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate delivery logs and prepare any necessary reports or documents.
Payment Collection:Accept payments from customers for delivered products.
Vehicle Maintenance:Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Communication:Maintain ongoing communication with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.

Key Skills

Time Management:Ability to meet tight schedules and complete deliveries within assigned timeframes.
Customer Focus:Excellent customer service skills to build rapport and resolve customer issues.
Problem-Solving:Ability to effectively address and solve problems that may arise during deliveries.
