Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload products using manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Experience with warehouse operations is preferred
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; manual transmission experience is a plus
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation tools
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required
