Job Description: The Tender/RFQ Executive plays a vital role in managing the end-to-end tendering process, with a special focus on defense, space, and government procurement. This includes identifying opportunities, evaluating RFQs, coordinating with internal teams, and submitting competitive proposals on portals like GeM , DRDO , DefProc , and ISRO . Key Responsibilities Manage the full RFQ/Tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to timely submission. Navigate and operate effectively on GeM (Government e-Marketplace) , DRDO , DefProc , and ISRO e-procurement portals. Analyze technical and commercial requirements of tenders from government and defense agencies. Liaise with Sales , Technical , Costing , and Proposal teams for data collation. Compile BOQs, BOMs , compliance matrices, and pricing documentation. Ensure on-time submission , proper documentation, and effective post-bid clarifications or revisions. Upload and manage tenders across relevant e-portals, ensuring pre-qualification criteria , tender fees etc. Maitain an internal tender submission tracker , logging outcomes, feedback, and follow-ups. Qualifications & Experience 2 -5 years of experience in Tendering/RFQ/Proposal Management with Govt./PSU/Defense clients Familiarity with contract law , bid evaluation criteria , and vendor registration norms Strong understanding of public sector bidding procedures , defense procurement policies , and GFR rules High attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint ERP or CRM tool experienceis a plus

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with GeM, eProcurement portals, and Government Tendering processes . Strong understanding of Defense Procurement policies and PSU contract mechanisms . Skills: Strong negotiation, networking, and communication skills . Ability to liaise between clients and internal teams effectively. Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development activities.
