Your responsibilities will include designing manual and automated tests to evaluate software quality, speed, accuracy, and functionality using various testing methods. You will create testing scripts, analyze data, and communicate recommended fixes to the development team with proper documentation. Ensuring that all products meet industry, company, and customer standards before release is crucial. Additionally, obtaining and implementing customer feedback will be part of your duties, along with maintaining thorough records of all testing stages and results. To excel in this role, you should possess experience in testing software and computer systems across different programming languages. Familiarity with scrum development methods, integration testing, security testing, acceptance testing, and usability testing is essential. Proficiency in debugging tools and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment are key attributes. Strong communication, analytical, and creative skills are also required to succeed in this position. Qualifications and Skills: - Experience in software and computer systems testing with languages like JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, Python, etc. - Proficient in scrum software development methods. - Familiarity with integration, security, acceptance, and usability testing. - Knowledge of various debugging and defect-detecting tools. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes work environment. - Strong communication, analytical, and creativity skills. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related field. - Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) or ISTQB Certification.
