MRI Software is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Manager to oversee quality assurance efforts across various projects. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in QA strategy, planning, automation, and team leadership within an Agile development environment. This pivotal role will focus on ensuring high-quality releases, enhancing testing processes, and promoting collaboration among global QA teams. Responsibilities: - Define and implement test plans and QA strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely delivery of product releases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum setup to align QA efforts with sprint goals and deliverables. - Establish, monitor, and analyze QA metrics to evaluate quality and drive continuous improvement. - Mentor and provide guidance to QA team members on best practices, testing methodologies, and professional growth. - Foster effective collaboration with QA Leads and Managers in other regions to maintain consistency in processes, tools, and quality standards. - Take ownership of product release quality and strive for minimal defects and high user satisfaction. - Advocate for early defect detection, root cause analysis, and initiatives focused on defect prevention and efficient defect management. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks and ensure integration into CI/CD pipelines to enhance testing efficiency. Primary Requirements: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in software testing in a structured QA environment, with 3+ years in team handling/management. - Proficient in Agile practices, test planning, test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), QA metrics & reporting, defect management, and root cause analysis. - Strong leadership skills, ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams, understanding of SDLC and STLC, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience collaborating with Product teams to design performance tests and identify features, functions, and services for performance testing. Education: - BE/BS Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. As a Software QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a diverse QA organization that covers functional testing and automated validation. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Robot Framework, POM, and TestNG, as well as integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, is essential. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to work onsite in Kochi, India, with flexibility in hours for collaboration with US teams are also required. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Expertise in tools like Zephyr, HP Quality Center, Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Jira, Bugzilla, GitHub Issues, Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub Actions, LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, Memlab, Git, SVN, Docker, VirtualBox, and VMware will be advantageous.
