Conducting in-line, end-line, and final inspections to ensure adherence to AQL standards. Managing a team of quality controllers and ensuring compliance with buyer requirements. Identifying defects, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Coordinating with production and merchandising teams to resolve quality issues. Handling buyer audits and ensuring adherence to international quality standards. Training staff on quality best practices to enhance overall product quality and efficiency. Job Responsibilities : 1.To develop and define Vehicle quality control plan. 2. Develop and improve process based on Standards as well as dynamic feedback from next Quality Gates, Customer audit, Dealer PDI. 3. Develop Periodic & robust training and evaluation plan for operator/repairman and inspectors followed by frequent Qualification tests. 4. Review process and direct the staff for immediate actions on the Defect generation controls to prevent outflow and work towards zero defect. 5. Leading Daily, Weekly and Monthly meetings for defect data monitoring, analysis and direction to other teams for focus areas improvement. 6.Take up Time bound New Initiatives to resolve chronic and critical issues in assembly process or product level by leading teams, utilizing advanced Problems solving tools for break through results. 7. - You execute a set of test cases assigned to you by an SDET/QAE/ your manager. You write and maintain black box test cases with some guidance. - You can drill down on ambiguous tasks requests (new features / use cases) into clear work instructions through first pass execution or training from QA, which in turn helps team to start testing without any hiccups. - You can install and configure software, can use debug settings. You have technical ability to gather logs, traces, to add to bug reports when provided detailed instructions. - You can give feedback on automation needs to your team / QA team for the components owned, execute and verify results of existing automated tests, manage and scale the lab infrastructure based on project needs. - You have basic understanding of the automation framework to initiate, manage and maintain automation runs as per defined schedule/SLA. - You reproduce errant product behavior to assist developers or other testers and identify, track, and accurately report defects found.
