Deep Learning, Data Scientist

As an experienced Data Scientist at Mango Sciences, you will be part of an agile team focused on leveraging our proprietary healthcare platform to build prediction models, primarily focusing on clinical risk/outcomes predictions. Your role will involve contributing to problem-solving discussions, building and evaluating prediction models, and providing clear assessments to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for providing timely updates to the management and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities: - Work on a high-impact team utilizing Mango's healthcare data to build prediction models, emphasizing clinical risk/outcomes predictions. - Contribute to problem-solving discussions by defining issues and recommending appropriate deep learning/machine learning techniques. - Build and evaluate prediction models, and communicate assessments effectively to stakeholders. - Provide regular updates to the management and leadership teams. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in prediction modeling, including proficiency in deep learning and traditional machine learning/statistical approaches. - Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages. - Preferred knowledge of the healthcare industry (medical and pharmaceutical). - Experience in building models from scratch and working with structured and unstructured data. - Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster partnerships.
