Candidates should possess hands-on experience in SolidWorks and a strong background in designing plastics and sheet metal parts. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal punching, bending, roll forming, deep drawing, and injection molding is essential. Proficiency in GD&T and manufacturing drawing creation is a must. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of CAD packages like Pro/E or SolidWorks, with skills in solid and surface modeling, detailing, and exposure to PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop new stainless steel products such as cookware, vacuum flasks, and other kitchenware using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will collaborate closely with the production, marketing, and quality control teams to bring ideas to life in the form of manufacturable products. Your key responsibilities will include creating 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for both new and existing stainless steel products. You will also be tasked with generating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for in-house production. Collaboration with the R&D and production teams will be essential to ensure product feasibility and optimization. In addition, you will be expected to modify and enhance existing designs to improve performance, aesthetics, or cost-efficiency. Conducting basic structural, stress, and thermal analysis on product designs when necessary will be part of your role.
