About the Role: Deccan Food Ventures LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day billing, bookkeeping, and financial documentation. The candidate will also assist in overseeing basic factory operations and HR-related coordination. This is a cross-functional role suited for someone with a strong accounting background who can also support operational tasks in a growing FMCG environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Billing (80–90% of the role): Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/Zoho Books. Generate and issue GST-compliant sales and purchase invoices. Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly GST returns. Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations. Record stock movements for packaging materials and finished goods. Manage petty cash and employee expense tracking. Follow up on collections from distributors and retail clients. Factory Coordination & HR Support (10–20% of the role): Maintain staff attendance and leave records. Organize and update basic HR documentation, such as joining forms and ID records. Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth daily operations. Track and support procurement of packaging and office materials. Assist with compliance documentation, vendor coordination, and internal reporting. Qualifications and Skills: B.Com or M.Com preferred Minimum 2 years of accounting experience; prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing is an advantage Proficiency in Tally or Zoho Books, and Microsoft Excel and Word Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and accounting best practices Basic understanding of payroll or HR administration Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work proactively Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding FMCG business
